Summon Monster (Revised)

When using a summon monster spell to summon multiple creatures of a lower level, the minimum number summoned is two.

Additional Options for Summon Monster Spells by level:

Fiendish and Celestial Animals: If a Fiendish or Celestial version of an Animal (except Snakes) exists on the lists, its Celestial or Fiendish counterpart does as well. This does not hold for Vermin, just Animals. This evens the lists up rather well by itself. The power of the spell can also be directed into a suitably-sized pre-existing object to animate it per Animate Object instead of fetching something from elsewhere. This works exactly like Summon Monster in all respects (Duration, Range, etc…).

SMI: up to Medium Animated Object (N) (object must be pre-existing and in range of spell)
SMII: Large Animated Object (N) (object must be pre-existing and in range of spell)
SMIII: Blink Dog (NG), Celestial/Fiendish Heavy War Horse (LG/E), C/F Cheetah (CG/E)
SMIV: Celestial Pegasus (LG), Celestial Unicorn (CG)
SMV: WYSIWYG
SMVI: Huge Animated Object (N) (object must be pre-existing and in range of spell), Adult Arrowhawk (N)
SMVII: Gargantuan Animated Object (N) (object must be pre-existing and in range of spell)
SMVIII: WYSIWYG
SMIX: Colossal Animated Object (N) (object must be pre-existing and in range of spell)
